CellhireConnect secure mobile data creates a HIPAA compliant wireless network to support temporary COVID Vaccination locations.

Overview:

A number of various healthcare organizations have engaged with Cellhire looking for ways to provide high-speed HIPAA compliant mobile data for “Pop-Up” vaccination locations. The need was for a quality high-speed network to manage patient appointments, immunization recording and the management of staff resources. These locations needed to be installed quickly and likely to only be in place from six to nine months.

Approach:

Cellhire developed four different solutions for these various programs:

1. An Apple iPad solution delivered in a shock proof case with a tablet pen and a 22 GB high-speed data bundle on a HIPAA compliant mobile network.
2. A high-speed mobile data router with a standard 120V AC plug to be temporarily mounted for distributive access to multiple users throughout the entire vaccination campus.
3. A Mobile Hotspot with a high-capacity battery, that is small and easy to move around a vaccination campus, to provide additional internet access to areas of the campus that were not accessible to users on the existing corporate wireless network.
4. Apple iPhone, pre-configured with the clients’ proprietary software, for individual healthcare workers to use as a tool to manage vaccination records and assignment schedules.

Results:

Cellhire has been able to help these organizations roll out these programs very quickly as there is no scheduled installation of a fixed line to support the connection. These are all rental solutions which eliminate the need for capital investment in equipment that will only be used for a short period of time. Cellhire’s rental agreements provide the flexibility for the client to adapt technology to the changing requirements in the roll-out of the vaccine programs.
